
Our very own Laura Kraus, RYT500, teaches two weekly yoga classes for adults, Gentle Chair Yoga on Tuesday mornings and Mat Yoga Tuesday evening.
New participants will be required to sign a waiver in advance of classes. Please arrive early to complete the paperwork. Chairs and yoga mats are provided, however, please feel free to bring your own mat if you like.
Chair Yoga: Tuesday Mornings, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Gentle chair yoga is mostly seated but includes some standing poses with the assistance of the chair for balance. All are welcome, regardless of prior experience or level.
Classes are held in our lower level, accessible by a short set of external steps (under the front porch) or an internal stairway.
Registration is required as space is extremely limited. Registration opens up a week in advance of each session. Click here to reserve your spot.
Mat Yoga: Tuesday Evenings, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Laura’s yoga class occasionally uses the chair to assist with balance and/or as needed by individual participants.
Please note that the sessions take place on the library’s third floor which is only accessible via exterior and interior stairs. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required, please. First come, first serve.
